  We've used rental trucks on the Gold Coast before and had no problem with the staff as well as the truck. Of course though we were silly enough to assume every rental company would provide the same courtesy. We payed for an auto truck that had a hydraulic lifter and hand trolly. We get to Eagle Farm AFTER paying for the car and calling earlier in the week to make sure they had an automatic truck, ONLY to get there and be rudely told off my their stuff they had none available.. Fast forward to having someone around luckily enough to drive a manual, we get to the moving place. We open the truck to get everything started, the Hydraulics lift isn't working and the hand trolly's wheels aren't moving properly. We decide that's life and start heavy lifting everything into the truck ourselves( like the washing machine that weighs over 100kg..) We took a lot longer than expected because of this, but finally we make it back to Eagle Farm, after refuelling up TO THE TOP. Literally a couple of minutes away from the place, we are told It wasn't filled up enough and we had to wait an extra hour for them to go through paperwork (WE HAD ALREADY FILED OUT) . The stuff were inexperienced, rude, just sitting around doing nothing for the whole hour we were there just twiddling their thumbs. I understand working at a rental company isn't the high life, but don't treat your customers like their animals and have done something wrong when YOUR products are faulty/unusable .It was the worst day to move because of this shity company who we paid good money for, to use a dodgy vehicle and machinery that doesn't even work. I WILL be telling anyone/everyone that your staff/vehicle's and just overall work ethic is appalling and mundane.

  Messed up booking, forcing us to reschedule our move around what they had available. No apology, staff didn't offer any compensation or discount until we complained.

  The truck I hired was in excellent condition and easy to drive. Customer service was excellent. Got my bond back no problems. Would be happy to use Hamilton Budget again.
